The Orgiaglia Estate is a splendid oasis, located between Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena.
In the old house, for 20 years Franco and Umberta have offered warm hospitality, authentic cuisine and Chianti at will.
Rooms with gardens and apartments, a swimming pool, tennis court, horse-riding paths, trips between the two castles and in the nature park, splendid animals and the excellent oil that will make you fall in love with this fresh, uncontaminated nature.
Orgiaglia: the place to regenerate, relax, make friends, laugh as you enjoy the pleasure of getting away from the grind of daily life, in our magical atmosphere.
Taking the country road, flanked by age-old cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves, you arrive at the gate of Berignone Nature Park and the Orgiaglia Estate...
Its great location in central Tuscany makes Orgiaglia the ideal point of departure for getting to places of historic, artistic and cultural interest, such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Firenze, Cecina and Lucca, whilst staying far from the hustle and bustle of these busier areas.
3,000 olive trees and sunflowers embrace the old farm, which was founded around the seventeenth-century master’s house, Luppiano’s villa, which looks on to the stupendous scenery between the natural land of Siena and the soft hills of Volterra, where your eye and spirit will fix upon the infinite and find peace.
The Estate is around 100 hectares, cultivated according to the criteria of organic farming, and is immersed in a faunal reserve of pheasants, hares, wild boars, foxes and deer.
It is the ideal place for whoever wants to recharge their batteries amidst the rare beauty of nature which is still intact and discover sounds, colours and smells: the gentle silence, olive trees of silver, aromatic broom flowers, pink and golden sunsets, red strawberry trees in autumn, fireflies and bright stars, nestled in the fresh breeze...of the sea
The hospitality of the Orgiaglia agritourism offers the opportunity to combine a luxurious holiday with a relaxing stay in rooms with bathrooms and independent apartments which enjoy unparalleled panoramas.
The seventeenth-century master’s house, home to the dining area, the bower and the cottage which look onto the court, as well as leafy areas, with cypress trees and hedges, scented by lavender, oleander and rosemary.
These welcoming and comfortable environments are furnished with old artisan furniture and have been recently restored, respecting tradition and the original materials, which all creates a romantic atmosphere.
None of our accommodation has a living area above, so that no one can disturb you.
You can choose to use the half-board service and Bread & Breakfast when staying in a room or in an apartment; or just for one night.

It is a traditional kitchen, simple and tasteful, which takes you back to the old, abundant “slow food”, rediscovering the merit of sitting around a plentiful table.
The magic recipe for your well-being is made from simple and natural things, healthy eating, enjoying one another’s company, resting well and moving around in the outdoors.
Upon request, it is also possible to have lunch, from a full meal to an afternoon snack. During the day it is also possible to request sandwiches or drinks.
For breakfast, between 8am and 10.30am, we serve warm and cold milk, coffee, tea, fruit juice and water; bread and biscuits, cereal, butter, marmalade, honey from our apiary, homemade cakes, fresh seasonal fruit; upon request, egg, sliced ham and cheese for a continental breakfast.
“The most beautiful moment is to meet up again in the evening at the table, with the desire to be together, sharing bread, talking to a new friend about our experiences, hopes, life as it is; adventure...leaving behind the everyday, free to express ourselves in this large family gathered under the same starry sky.
In Orgiaglia, at every toast you will have one more friend!”
Franco and Umberta.
A holiday in Orgiaglia represents a special experience for whoever feels the need, as is often said, to “switch off” and for whoever wants to be taken away by traditional values and the history of a unique part of the world.
You will be able to discover the numerous cities of art and the artisan reality that characterise them: Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa and Florence; exploring the Natural Park, the walking trails in the countryside, doing outdoor activity or simply nothing at all...snoozing by the pool, reading outdoors or having a snack, enjoying the splendid environment of unforgettable scenery.
